I have a ticket, what do I do now?

Basic traffic citations can be paid prior to your court date in person, by mail, online, or by phone. If you would like to contest the citation, you MUST appear in court at the scheduled date and time located at the bottom of the citation. Any questions, please contact our office at (662) 728-5961

Examples of basic traffic citations include: • Speeding • Running a stop sign / red light • Careless driving • No or an expired tag • No seatbelt / child restraint

** To set up a payment plan, please appear in court on your scheduled date and time to speak with the Judge.**

I received a ticket for no proof of insurance, but I have insurance. What should I do?

OPTION 1: If you have proof of valid insurance at the time of the stop but simply did not have your proof, you can appear at our office M-F from 8-5 and provide a copy of your valid insurance card. The insurance must show that it was valid on the date you received your citation on either 1: the defendant or 2: the vehicle that was being driven at the time of the stop. In this scenario, the court may consider a dismissal of the charge.

OPTION 2: If you did not have valid insurance at the time of the stop but have it now, you must appear in court on at your scheduled date and time.

*Failure to appear can result in a warrant for your arrest.*
